A new website has been born for Vegetarians in Vancouver. After great success and enjoyment being had in the monthly meetup's I was organizing, I decided to put together a website for the group and make it more of an entity of its own rather than a sub page on the Meetup.com website.

And thus, www.vancouvervegetarians.com and www.vanveg.com for short was born!

I plan to make this site a really cool project site and have as many features as I can put into it without overloading the users.

First, I want to import the list of 100 or so restaraunts I have collected around town for Vegetarian food and put them in here with some details. Ideally, with the support of viewers, I hope to have comments on some of the restaraunts later down the road as well.

Next thing I want to do is collect some other must have Vegetarian website links. So if you have any, please email me them by contacting me here webmaster@vanveg.com.

There are so many more things I plan to put on here, but first to load it with as much content as possible and spread the word to everyone. Hopefully Vancouver is ready for us :)
